When you invite the other parent

Either of you can start. You send an email invite from the ledger; the other parent opens it, makes their own account, and sees the same entries you do.

An invite never enrolls anyone in text messages. Each parent turns on their own alerts, for their own number, or never does.

The free ledger stays fully usable for the second parent, whatever plan you choose.

When you pay for something for the kids

Log it in a few seconds: what it was, the amount, the date, and a photo of the receipt. NoonVale applies your split and sends the other parent a request for their share.

When you agree on the split

Set it once, together, and NoonVale applies it to every expense either of you logs. One default split, 50/50 or 60/40, is free.

When you look back

Every entry, answer, edit, and deletion is dated and kept in the order it happened. Neither of you can change or remove an entry without it showing to both of you.

With Plus, export the full history whenever you need a copy.

When the arrangement is more complicated

NoonVale Plus, $6 per parent each month, or $59 per parent for the year, handles the complicated arrangements and the paper trail. The free ledger keeps working for both of you either way.

    Set an expense up once, like monthly daycare or tuition installments. NoonVale adds the entry on the schedule you set, with your split applied, and both of you see it in the ledger.
